Steps to Upload a Video on YouTube

Sign in to YouTube:

• Open a web browser or the YouTube app on your phone.
• Go to youtube.com and sign in with your Google account.

Access the Upload Option:

• On the top right corner of the homepage, click the camera icon with a plus sign (Create) and select Upload video from the dropdown menu.

Select Your Video:

• Click Select Files in the upload window.
• Choose the video you want to upload from your device.

Enter Video Details:

• Title: Enter a title for your video (this is required).
• Description: Add an optional description to explain your video content.
• Thumbnail: Choose or upload a thumbnail (optional, but recommended).
• Audience Settings: Specify if the video is for kids or not.

Set Video Visibility:

• Choose who can view your video:
  • Public: Everyone can see the video.
  • Unlisted: Only people with the link can see the video.
  • Private: Only you and people you choose can see the video.
  • Schedule: Set a date and time to make your video public.

Upload and Process:

• Wait for the video to upload and process. This may take a few minutes depending on the file size and your internet speed.

Publish the Video:

• Once the processing is complete, click the Publish button.

How to Copy the Video Link

After Uploading:

• Once the video is published, YouTube will show the video link in the upload confirmation window.
• Click the Copy Link button to copy the URL.

From the YouTube Dashboard:

• Go to YouTube Studio (click on your profile picture > YouTube Studio).
• In the left menu, click Content.
• Locate your uploaded video and click the Options (three dots) next to it.
• Select Get shareable link to copy the video URL.

From the Video Page:

• Open your video by clicking on it.
• Copy the link from the address bar of your browser.

On the Mobile App:

• Tap your profile picture in the app.
• Go to Your Channel > Videos.
• Open the video, tap Share, and select Copy Link.
